Focus and Scope

Al-Hayat: Journal of Islamic Education invites scholars, researchers, and students to contribute the result of their studies and researches in the areas related to Islamic Education, which covers textual and fieldwork investigation with various perspectives of Education Curriculum, Philosophy, Management, History, Theology, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science and others.

Open Submissions 



Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Al-Hayat: Journal of Islamic Education is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "double-blind review". Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Waiver Policy

All article published in Al-Hayat: Journal of Islamic Education is Open Access. Open Access publishing implies that all readers, anywhere in the world, are allowed unrestricted access to the full text of articles, immediately on publication in Al-Hayat: Journal of Islamic Education. No payment is collected from the readers for accessing and using the articles.

Publication Fee

This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Fast-Track Review: 1000K (IDR)
Article Publication: 500K (IDR)


Al-Hayat: Journal of Islamic Education doesn't charge a submission fee, only a published fee.

Article Processing

If the manuscript has been reviewed and declared to be suitable for publication by Al-Hayat: Journal of Islamic Education, then the writer conducts the APC. But we recommend articles in English if the current the Indonesian language delivery fixed, we have received and processed to be a reviewer if the text stated in the receipt after the review then it must be translated into English. We provide solutions using the services of a fellow translator Al-Hayat if English limits the author.
