Posting Article Policy
Prior to submission to AJIE
Authors may post their article anywhere at any time, including on preprint servers such as arXiv.org. This does not count as a prior publication.
Upon submission to AJIE
Authors may share or post their submitted version of the article (also known as the preprint) in the following ways:
- On the authors personal website or their employers website
- On institutional or funder websites if required
- In the authors own classroom use
- On Scholarly Collaboration Networks (SCNs) that are signatories to the International Association of Scientific, Technical, and Medical Publishers Sharing Principles (https://www.stm-assoc.org/stm-solutions/)
Upon acceptance to AJIE
If an author previously posted their submitted version of the article in any of the following locations, he or she will need to replace the submitted version with the accepted version of AJIE. No other changes may be made to the accepted article.
- Authors personal website
- Authors employers website
- arXiv.org
- Funders repository
- Social-networking sites such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu
Authors are advised to use the final PDF version published on the Journals website for self-archiving purposes. However, its not an obligation and authors are free to use the version they prefere; pre-print, post-print or publishers PDF version.
There is no embargo on the self-archiving of articles. Authors are allowed deposition of articles on repositories, personal websites and social-networking sites immediately after publication on the journal website. Accepted manuscripts can be also self-archived by authors.
Final published article
- When the article is published, the posted version should be updated with a full citation to the original of AJIE, including DOI. He or she will need to replace the accepted version with the published article version of AJIE.
